Terms of Sale & Use

Last updated: 18 July 2026

These terms cover your purchase and use of WrenchWorx. By buying or using the software, you agree to them.

Who we are

WrenchWorx is supplied by Jacob Hoschke (ABN 99 459 431 131), based in Australia. Contact: [email protected].

What you're buying

You're buying a perpetual licence to use WrenchWorx. You pay once. There is no subscription, no renewal fee, and no expiry — the software remains yours to use.

You are buying a licence to use the software, not ownership of the software itself. We retain all intellectual property rights in WrenchWorx.

What your licence allows

What your licence doesn't allow

Updates

WrenchWorx is a finished, stable product. Your licence includes bug fixes and stability updates at no extra cost, provided on an ongoing basis at our discretion.

New major features are not added to this version. Larger capabilities are planned for a separate future product (WrenchWorx Pro), which will be sold separately. Buying WrenchWorx does not entitle you to that future product, and we make no promise about if or when it will be released.

Delivery

After purchase you'll receive a download link and a licence key by email. It's your responsibility to give us a working email address and to check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive. If it doesn't turn up, email us and we'll sort it out.

System requirements

WrenchWorx requires Windows 10 (version 1803 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit. It is not available for macOS or Linux. Please check that your computer meets these requirements before buying.

Your data and backups

WrenchWorx stores your workshop data locally on your own computer. You are responsible for backing up your own data. The software includes backup and CSV export tools to help you do this. We hold no copy of your data and cannot recover it for you if it is lost, corrupted, or deleted.

GST summary is not accounting advice

The GST summary in WrenchWorx is a convenience tool that totals invoiced amounts over a date range. It is not accounting software and not a BAS preparation tool. It does not handle per-item GST treatment, GST-free items, input tax credits, or GST paid on purchases. Always confirm your figures with a qualified accountant before lodging anything with the ATO. We are not responsible for tax reporting errors.

Support

Support is provided by email at [email protected]. We aim to respond within 24 hours, though this is a target rather than a guarantee.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits or removes those rights.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they are not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Limitation of liability

Subject to the Australian Consumer Law and to the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with WrenchWorx is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost business, or loss of data.

Ending your licence

We may terminate your licence if you materially breach these terms — for example, by distributing your licence key or pirating the software. If we do, you must stop using the software.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and you and we submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future purchases. The terms that apply to you are the ones published at the time you bought your licence.
